Heers68 I reckon trigger probably original, its bloody heavy and the pins that hold it are riveted over, like its never been altered. Bolt also appears original although not to say it wasn't bent back at when it was restocked.

Thophet1, bolt and C/piece are polished. Barrel doesn't seem to like woodleigh PP or round nose very much with groups around 2 inch plus. I used 293gr TUG's last year on Donkeys/Horses and would say they were a little too effective on the penetration side. Thou I used em in case of an opprtunity on a bovine. 5 shot group was just under 4 inches at 200m which is about max range I feel

Recoil is a nice push, I comfortably fired 30+ shot in a day with no ill effect. I love a 26 inch barrel. I will be heading back to NT in September to knock a few ferals over.

Also getting a pair of 404's built at the moment, one will have a 26 inch barrel and be scoped the other might even get a Stainless 24inch barrel !!!
