That is my favorite type of rifle and that is a beauty.
I just picked one up a minty one (wood not as nice as oyurs though!) in 8x64S as well and another poor one with a great bbl the same caliber that I am going to ream into a 8x68S - it should work great!

Im trying to research loads now - either 200 gr or 220 gr bullets ???

I thought that this action length would be too short for a .404 Jeffery. I figured the 10.75x68 would be the longest one could do?
