That rifle is a real beauty.

The only omission I see: provision for sling. I would have him fit a barrel band with classic bail for sling on the front and a rear swivel where the attachment screw for the cartridge magazine is on the butt.

Just my suggestion. Do not take this as negative comment, as this is one fine rifle.
