Very nice pics. I am still intrigued by where you got the Metford rifled barrel made because your other post suggests that your barrelmaker had several more Metford rifled barrels. I can understand that you may want to keep this secret.

India is about to reopen hunting for non Indian citizens for pigs (some of the biggest boar in the world) and nilgai. The pressure is on the country to make it work and the onlys tumbling block has been the government's insistence that there be trained professional shikaris to guide the hunt. While the old shikaris have died out, some SOuth African companies have started to train shikaris in India from what I have heard and you may soon be able to give your rifles the thrill of hunting in India again.
