Very rare and very historic indeed. At the rate the DGR market is going up, today's 'through the roof' prices may seen modest in another year or so. Another area rapidly appreciating is the pre-WW1 take down rifles, initially built by various British makers on 1900 and 1903 MS rotary magazine actions and then with the Mauser 98 actions. The 1903 MS action H&H in 400/375 Belted I picked up a couple years ago has now gone up dramatically as I just turned down a 100% profit for it. The handful of other pre-WW1 takedowns that are on the market now from time to time seem to have doubled in value in about a year. Dave |
