Yea I guess thats the best, I will call browning and ask them. But while reading through online blogs I found this excerpt but I am not sure about its accuracy I will just post it here for reference purposes:

"Yes, Jorge, my 1967 Browning catalog shows Mausers for all grades of the Safari through the Olympian, but I have a 1967 with a Sako action, too. Browning also used salt cured wood from 1966 through 1972, but a lot of the rifles don't have that, either."
