Cogswell and Harrison 98 Mauser

Hi:I have a Cogswell & Harrison 8x57 98 mauser . It is a military 98 reworked in England.The safety is 2 position only instead of three position. Is this normal for this company to rework the safties? The bolt handle bending looks like an amateur job. Any info on these guns would be appreciated. Regards Dan

As the self appointed Head of the Committee of Pesterers on the Nitroexpress Forums for Gun and Hunting Pictures,  may I request you to please post pictures of your rifle here! That would have the bonus of allowing the experts here to look more closely at it and gie you the information that you need.
