mauser model M value?

HI,
Would anyone have a Idea on the value of a Mauser Model M sporter in original condition. I would say the rifle is about 80% and am not sure but would date it around the late to mid 1920's. Its a beautiful full stocked rifle with the claw mounts and a early german hunting scope. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my area of expertise is with old military weapons, and old sporter's in original condition and Guild rifles I know little about.
Thanks!
Kindest Regards

Re: mauser model M value?

I am sorry but I can not post photo's as I do not own the rifle yet, but would like to,as it is truly beautiful rifle, and its rather unusually for me to curb from my military rifle interests. The rifle just caught my eye and is a work of art. I was thinking of offering $1,000 for the rifle but also thought though I would check with you guys which I consider experts in the area. I currently have two very well done austrian styer m95's sporterized, double triggers and beautiful inlay, made around the turn of the Century. My wife calls these "her guns" because of all the old turn of the century military rifles I have these are just very well done and both in 8x50 austrian. the Mauser sporter I am looking at is in 7MM Mauser..............hope this helps alittle with my thought process here.
Kindest Regards and thanks for your response!

Re: mauser model M value?

An original unmessed with Mauser Type M with period scope will bring between $3500-$6000 depending on condition and factory options.
