I must be an NE member now as I have to offer up a pick! For the big money that the rifle undoubtedly commanded I as the owner (yeah right) would have liked more definition on the stags antlers and even in the ears, just a few more lines would do as it looks a bit 'blank' to me. Even the face isnt quite right imo. There are graveurs and artists and there are others. |

Nice rifle. I really like the Selous' 425WR takedown, the article below. |

I'm assuming all five photos belong together as they do appear to be the same rifle. The first three are labelled .425 which I am guessing was a photo titling error. Lovely well made custom Mauser takedown in 9.3x62. Personally I do not like the "blue" bolt at all, and the stag or elk bull's head could be better executed, and it it was me, the gold is too much, but that's just me. But the rifle, case etc is otherwise so well made, I'm sure its owner will greatky treasure it. |

That rifle is Stunningly beautiful - for me. The engraving and inlays are a bit over the top - for me - but OMG, I love it! |

There are things about the rifle that don't appeal to me....as if I could afford something like that in the first place....regardless, it is stunning and I'd certainly proud of it were it or one like it mine. |
