BRNO in 7x57
|
|
This is a Model 21 BRNO. My favourite light bolt rifle to carry.
Double square bride mounts make the scope fit and hold perfectly.

Nice gun Mickey...but it will never reach a (yours) .275 rigbymauser by the mile.

Not in finish for sure. But, it is much more practical for me as it will take a scope.
And I do like the double set triggers.

What a lovely, lovely rifle. What is the barrel length? It appears to be maybe 22"? Now, educate me - was this a civilian rifle made in the BRNO factory? The double square bridge action makes me think this. I'm not familiar with the Model 21 BRNO, but I think I'm going to start looking for one.

DSB
Yes it was made by BRNO in 1949. They are around but were not legal for import in the US during the Cold War. Expect pay around $1200 in the US. But worth it.
I bought this one in Canada. 22" barrel and weighs in at 6.75 lbs. without scope.

Those are lovely little rifles. Quality well beyond their asking prices... wish I hadn't sold mine...
