Here are some more pictures of the Coggie.
Interestingly, this gun has some very nice appointments for what many think is a down-market maker. What I mean by that is that C&H are often looked at as a lower grade British firm, although in my experience, their action work is as good as any and certainly smoother than my .404 Jeff.
This particular gun has some nice features such as the express sights, barrel band sling swivel and front sight, horn forend tip, grip cap and butt plate as well as the latch style floorplate.
I am not sure if the use of horn was a more expensive option to steel or not at the time of this gun's birth, but is very cool all the same.
