When Dad got this one it had been converted from a 9.3x62 takedown to a 22-250 non takedown. They had done away with the takedown metal but from paperwork the guy found we knew the previous caliber. Dad made a new front metal and turned a bbl to fit the bbl. channel. He put the bolt peep on as there were no sights and fitted the mounts. The maker's name must have been on the the org. barrel. We found the gun in a town about 75 miles away and I spent several months scouring around the town in old gun shops and dealers trying to find the org. bbl but never had any luck.
