I'm not sure what mount bases they are but they could be Australian Hilver's which are very strong but not likely to be quick detachable.
I use German Recknagel QD mounts which are sold in NZ by Klaus Pommer for under $500. Although quite expensive they are good.
Have you got a photo of the front sight bead?
