I should have been more clear with my words, I have the new book. The Mauser Archive. It's loaded with photos of special order mausers. The only description it gives is:
pre ww1 type B k-action rifle with lightweight barrel, band swivel, reversed one standing/one folding rear sight, flattened bolt handle, doubleset triggers, and military-style floorplate.

The book has a ton of information and photos that were converted from factory glass pate negatives. It's going to require some serious reading. :^)
