Could some one please help? I have now identified a Rigby take-down barrels in 350 & 440 (is that a Rigby caliber? I thought they did 416 & 450.) The gunsmith says there is some surface rust because it was not stored properly & he will clean it up. I haven't seen the rifle yet & need to drive 5 hours to see it & then drive back. I am told that the condition is good but not great). What would be a fair price for such a rifle? I am very tempted to buy it

but do not want to make the mistake of paying too much. I am not even sure if it is for sale but one can always try. Any help would be appreciated.
