Some photos for interest.

I visited an uncle the other day and took some photos of some of his rifles. I was in a bit of a hurry and the photos aren’t the best quality. The rifles are actually lovingly oiled and cared for but he had been away quite a while and a couple had some mould on the timber. (it gets very humid at times) I had to take the photos before he had chance to clean them. When I next visit I will get some better photos.
These 4 are (hopefully I remembered correctly)
VZ Small ring Mauser; 30’s vintage, - customised by Gabe Gatti in 257 Roberts. He didn't do the engraving.
1909 Argentinean Mauser - customised by Damian Connolly, is now a double square bridge in 338WM.
Double Square Bridge Oberndorf Mauser in 10.75 x 68 about 1938 - restocked by Keith Tyack
Wesley Richards 318 EX, take down rifle – this one came with 200 rounds of factory Kynoch ammunition. This is my favourite. Next time I’ll take pictures of it taken down. The stock shown in last photo isn't damaged, that is just some light mould. It wiped off quite easily.
