the explanation is wrong

the standing lion with a "1" - is it a 1? - was used by the proof house in Prag for blackpowder proof between 1919 and 1931

NP with the small p was used by the proof house in Prag for Nitro proof between 1899 and 1931

funny is I just talk with Kuduae about the stamp of the year and gun number proofed in this year in the proof house in Zehla Mehlis and in Wien. it looks like the proof house in Prag did the same, gun number 1676 proofed in Prag in 1924? what else can it mean?
I think this was build by a local gunmaker somewhere in czechoslovakia. someone who waste no time to stamp his own name on the rifle. I don't believe it was possible to bring the gun over the border from austria to czechoslovakia without a proof and let it proof then in Prag.
