Thanks John for posting the photos, that is a skill that I think I will never master Kuduae .thanks for the details of the rifle and its manufacture dates The stock is original with the Rigby serial number stamped in the barrel channel the rubber pad and the spacer make the length of pull a tadd over 15 inches but it's something I can live with The folding leaf sights as well as the peep sight are marked 75 and 150 yards which is not the usual sight markings that we would normally see The peep sight is not the usual one that one encounter on a Rigby . A friend of mine has a similar sight on a H & H 240 Apex I took a 350 black bear in British Columbia Canada in May this year .One shot off hand no sling, rock or tree to lean on at 74 paces smashed the shoulder and destroyed the heart so the peep sight works well. The bullet was a 154 grain Hornady I'm still waiting on Rigby for the details of who the rifle was made for and its completion / delivery date regards sbs470 |
