Some of these makers have only made one to three , or even less, double rifles per year. It would be interesting to know how many can be attributed to Purdey,mWR, H&H, Rigby etc since they began.
Makes amazing the Rigby Rising Bite success. 80 Rising Bites ordered within months of the beginning date, so they had to close off new orders. A DR at GBP 80,000 plus. If my memory serves me correctly on all this. Same as the Big Game Rifle, 150 ordered in the first year, planned sales were 50 in the first twelve months.
