IMO: This rifle was either made bespoke for an American, or my guess is it was styled to appeal to a typical $$$ American.
Nicely done rifle, unfortunately it just does not have "the look" one would expect from Purdey.
Sad to say but the majority of American shooters would really like the styling of this rifle. Of course that "carbuncle" of a scope is all the rage as well.
……More money than good taste….sigh
