My .303 Rigby had slanted mag but with rounded tops.
The Lancaster Mauser pictured doesn`t have a stepdown reciever ring.
Only the earliest Magnum Mausers had stepdown front ring...like my .400/350ex.
BTW.Is that your .400/350 Rigby?..
