Quote: I prefer to keep the original floorplate which corresponds better to a single trigger, especially having made a trigger that fits more back in the guard. In Europe shotgun type guards are used more for double set triggers (see pre-war M-s productions). The Zi-Di system was produced with several receiver variations and not all of them have the standard 11mm rail. The one in the photo was plain and wore a soft soldered rear claw mount base. I have finished profiling the new barrel machined from an L-W match quality blank and chambered for the .22 Hornet. I will try to take some photos. My goal is to build a sister rifle to our previous man sized rimfire made on a much modified pre-war Mauser .22lr repeater action. I look forward to your pictures. DORLEAC www.dorleac-dorleac.com |
