That was great to hear about what you know about the 7.65x53 PH!
For you & your countrymen it seems to have been the 'go to' (mauser) rifle - with us Aussies, Kiwis & Canucks it has been the old .303 in the Lee-Enfield.
The more things change the more they stay the same, we reused the old military cases, grinding back the tips or replacing the projectiles later on when we could afford them!
Same calibre give or take, did a sterling job at whatever it needed to put in the pot!
