Interesting find. The use of a intermediate length action for that cartridge is not really a surprise. Though the caliber narking 7,65 N Türk seems strange. The military intermediate 98 actions with that cartridge commonly seen :Peruvian 1909 , Turk 1903 and Paraguayan 1907 differed in the higher Charger clip slot and the halfmoon handle bolt stop. In Argentina - where you live - you may encounter a Commercial Oberndorf sporter here and there, though I wouldnt call it MANY. Resembles the situation with the few Oberndorf Sporters in 6,5x55 (Standard length actions). Here and there you can find them in Sweden , but rare enough compared to the rest of production. |
