RIGBY .350 Magnum: the real thing !

This rifle has been made by RIGBY circa 1910 using a 1905 original Mauser magnum action and the British firm delivered it in 1911.
Thank to marc NEWTON, the RIGBY ledger reads as follow:
Serial number: 3699
Action number: 5732
Sold to: A D Sloane
Sale date: Sept 2nd 1911
Weight: 8lb 5oz
Barrel length: 24"
Lop: 14 1/8"
Sighting: Ivory bead, no.1 V with 2 leaves
Sighting distance: 100, 300 and 400 yards
Remarks: Trap in grip and butt
Even if that RIGBY has benefited from a complete overhaul in our workshop it's in surprising good condition with an absolutely perfect bore and flawless action functioning.
During the restoration -ordered by the buyer- we have taken great care to apply the same process that were used at the period: slow rust bluing, bone and charcoal color case hardening, nitre blue, hand applied oil finish and the like.
All the parts are numbered to the Mauser serial number (5732) and the stock is made of unexpected finely figured French walnut.
Notice that the rifle retains all its original specifications without any modification.
The Rigby peep sight could be a latter factory addition as it's perfectly regulated on the existing sights.
Observe also the presence of the very rare sight protector specific to this model.
Kind regards to all.
