I received an email last night from W J Jeffery in response to my request for information on my .404. The sent me copies of the ledger page with my rifle 16706. It looks as if they made a rifle to order and made a similar one maybe on spec as this looks to have occurred three times with 2 404s and the 275. Anyway not alot of info on my particular rifle but it matches the description of 16705. Ledger page is below as I thought it may be interesting to some. They said it was likely all the guns on this page were by the same maker. Would love to find that 303!
