Been on the site for years admiring all the rifles, craftsmanship and wealth of knowledge. This might even be my first post.

I'm in the process of sourcing all the parts to build a .318 WR. I pretty much have everything and just need a suitable action. I started of with the idea of using a FN Mauser action, classic lines and been admiring the Dorleac Plains Game .318WR.

I sourced a complete ZG-47 in good condition which make a good platform for a custom build rifle.

I'm in two minds, and not sure if this is the correct caliber/action combination. Maybe keep it for another project.

At the end it is what a custom rifles are about, personal ideas and taste but what would you suggest, looking for a DWM 1909 Argentine?

I love the look of the Dorleac 6.5x284 on the ZG47
