Found at the recent Kassel gunshow: An English Mauser rifle in .375 rimless Nitro Express aka 9.5x57 Mannlicher – Schoenauer. Long 26" barrel. DWM M98 action. London proof marks. Not marked by a maker or dealer. Two folding leaves express sight, marked 200 and 300. Slim British style stock without cheekpiece, with horn foreend tip and steel buttplate. Flat top checkering. Will be interesting to see how the ballisics from the 26" barrel compare to those from the 20" barrel of my M 1910 Mannlicher – Schoenauer. Any comments, please?
