Re: Is anyone other than Roger Green importing FZH actions?

What do you mean by the 25% price increase?

The last time I checked, Roger had a few double square bridge mauser action in stock for 375 H&H and 416 Rigby. No thumb cut and no pocket floor plates on the Rigby's. The price on his website for these is $3850. Because I wanted the single square bridge, thumb cut, and Rigby style pocket floor plate, I was quoted 5k. I estimated 25% more, but actually doing the math indicates 30%. I guess I should ask him if the price would be less if he made the order when he makes his yearly general orders. I'm not trying to knock Mr.Green. He is just trying make a living. These actions are expensive, period. Perhaps I should just feel fortunate that they exist at all. While a few other makers make some nice magnum mauser actions, no one, to my knowledge, makes actions as close to pre-war specs as FZH. There are a few "improvements", to be sure, but they are the closest.
