Yes, a little strange but not too much different from the 400/350 which it was originally chambered for.
Wouldn't need any work in the magazine or action just a rebore and rechamber.
I do think that conversion to the .375H&H Magnum makes more sense and was commonly done to these step-ring magnum Rigbys. Still prefer to leave it alone though...
