2nd first, Yes the bolt handle is "attached" by a pinned tongue, well actually a pinned round stud. Unique for sure, have wondered why not welded.

1st statement. Of the "original" Fraser's...i.e..... Daniel J. standing at the center bench, I have not seen another 98. That said later/modern built D.J. Fraser rifles by H&H, Dickinson, MacNaughton regularly used M98 actions....as well as Sako's BSA CF2, San Marcos.........
