The bolt handle has definitely been altered. For one thing, the scope is mounted too low for an unaltered bolt.

Second, the safety has been altered to allow for a low scope mount, unnecessary with the original bolt handle.

Third, the stock has been inletted to clear the bolt handle, not necessary with an original handle and finally, the bolt handle appears to be slightly swept to the rear, not the case with original handles.
