Thanks.When I first purchased the rifle the floorplate had a lever to open it.I hated it as when you carry a rifle for up to 20 miles a day this is an annoying thing so I converted it back to a standard floorplate.The sniper extended safety was on the rifle when I got it .I like it as you can use it easily when you have gloves on and it is conveniant for bolt dissassembly with the scope in place.Also it would be bad luck to change it now as the rifle has always performed well.It is a unique as well as it is an outstanding rifle.
