Dorleac "Bergwald" Stutzen

I have just received pictures of a new Stutzen rifle built by my friend Joel Dorleac. In his mail he writes:

"The "Bergwald Stuzen"

A full stocked 6,5x57 rifle built by DORLEAC & DORLEAC on an original 1927 Mauser action, trued, blue printed and fitted with new bolt handle and a side swing safety.
The Lothar Walther barrel is 22" and we have tried to make the open sights in the traditional Oberndorf manner, with a free banded front swivel.
The stock follows our regular style and was made from a 1969 French walnut blank from Tessier, in Brives.
The discreet engraving makes use of mountains plants only, without any scrolls.
The client, a chamois hunter, ordered a S&B "Summit" on our special claws mount.

Hope you will enjoy, Mehul !

Joel Dorleac
DORLEAC & DORLEAC"

Good hunting and happy viewing, everyone!
