I just picked up a well used Model B 30-06 made in 1921 that has been here in Alaska awhile. Like many Alaskan rifles the barrel is chopped to 18 inches and the rifle is well worn but still a solid and serviceable after 90 years of use. It is the second well used Oberndorf sporter I have found up here and I certainly intend to keep it in use.
