The finishing process was gleaned from Duane Wiebe. He has it posted on his web site. It uses Dalys finishes. SeaFin Ship-n-Shore for sealer & SeaFin Teak oil & rottenstone for filling pores in about 30 coats. Both the finishes were dyed with ground alkanet. Linseed oil might have given a little better color, but this rifle is going to get hunted hard in a humid environment. The extra finish on the barrel after finishing was some of the hardest to remove I've ever used.
Forgot to add, I bleached the stock with oxalic acid before finishing.
