The rifle does not have a peep sight and I'd rather not make any changes to it. Rustam If you look at a bolt mounted aperture sight all you need is a replacement cocking piece to have the dovetail cut in and you can have your rifle origional simply by changing the cocking piece. advantages are balance is unchanged and neither is the weight. There are no driling of mounting holes for scope bases.
