That big lump of a screw in front of the Magazine / Floorplate
is undone, as is the rear trigger guard screw.

Then the barrel and action can be lifted out of the wood work as one piece.

In the stock at the bac of the action is a metal lug where the rear of the action slips in underneath and once the screws described above are done up, the thing is pretty well solid.

Used a lot on H&H rifles. I had one in 375H&H.
