Hi 9ThreexFifty7 I've only done a blesbuck hunt with it so far (a walk and stalk in bushveld so not your classic long distance type blesbuck hunting On that occasion I was still using original old Kynoch ammo which had occasional misfires and less occasional split shoulders. I've since relegated them to my collection and got some dies (CH) and brass (made by Ken Stewart) but the first loads had closing problems and there is something amiss. I don't know if it's the brass, the dies or the me! It's an absolute joy to carry in the field, light, points like an arrow and enough calibre to be confident on all plains game. Ken Stewart still regularly supplies his bullets to folk in Zambia who take buf with this calibre! I'd be hesitant (especially since I've got better medicine for that) When I get a load sorted out I'd love to try it on blue wildebeest. |
