Hard to see why anyone would choose such a configuration at WR's price-point when many proven examples are already available in the US. Apart from the main players, names like Hill Country, Cooper, Kimber, RMP... Its a long list. Although I see Montana has recently finished up. WR's market niche is (was!) high-end traditional: hope they never abandon that! |

I do like that rifle. Whilst I love fine walnut and blued steel, there are times, especially on long wet, snowy mountain hunts, when such conditions can easily destroy a fine rifle. I think though I might have looked more at stainless steel for the action and barrel. |
