It looks like the barrels have a step in diameter after the rear sight. Is there another step in the barrels at the band for the sling eye?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing. Very nice, all of them. Some of my favorites, a handy iron sighted Mauser in a medium.

No steps in the barrel. What you see is the rear site ramp, simmular on the 9.3x62
