During my (first ever) visit to the US this September I had the opportunity to visit the Holland & Holland Gun Rooms in Mannhattan. The gentleman there was very helpful and let me photograph this beautiful rifle from their collection. It is a take-down MS 1910 in 375 NE (9.5X57 MS). The spring loaded peep sight is recessed in the tang. I have never seen one like it before. It is obviously a well used working gun but still in good condition & a real beauty.

I have now located a similar rifle (NOT an H&H but a regular MS that is not a takedown) - but it has the peep sights. I hope to get some pictures & then buy it!
