I agree with you 100 % , but I wanted to explain , that many gunsmith tried to modify a MS receiver for example from 7x57 (.257) to a 30-06 : changing the barrel and modifying the rotation magazin and that is complete wrong, because you loose repeating precisione.And in many cases you will get troubles to load your cartridges without demage
of your bullet.
