Since I just closed the deal on this rifle I can share some more details. Retailed by H. Mahallion and engraved on the barrel as such along with some other words I cannot make out or pronounce, Belgium proofs. It does not have 'Made in Austria' roll marked on the receiver ring at all and never did, no witness mark on the barrel for alignment with the action and fitted with a trap butt plate but never drilled for cleaning rod or ammo storage. All original including finishes. So again my question. Are these rifles more sought after or just another variation. Thanks for the previous responses, all info is appreciated. |
