Looking through the pages I see several rifles with cocking piece peep sights, some of which are windage adjustable which obviously adds more weight. I have a 1910 coming with a Lyman peep. I have a Lyman for Springfield 103 windage adjustable peep that I might try to fit if it clears the rear tang. My question is do I need a stronger firing pin spring to deal with the added weight. Wolff lists the factory spring @ 17# and a replacement spring @ 19#. Any input would be appreciated. |
