I guess I can finally get this project finished up, I found a stock that would fit all the parts I have. The stock came to me cracked through the wrist, actually two pieces, I ended up making the necessary repairs. So if all else failed I still had a pattern. Looks like it will work out ok as I loaded up a few rounds and it did not come apart so were good for now.
Made a set of cleaning rods, Made a new front sight with a silver blade, te original was too low. put the old one in the grip cap storage.
I was suprised as the lack of recoil I was expecting much more, using 270 grain bullets over 42 grains of 4895, did not want to get too heavy a load until I shot it and see how the stock would act.
Really happy how things turned out and appreciate all the help from everyone on the site.
