see it just now, no problem, the bloody germans will fix it this must be one of the first 10000 made when romania only order 5000 for a troop trial. then sold mostly to british gunmaker. here is a comrade with a similar story - M 93 made in 1914 for Romania and still in the Steyr warehouse when the great war startet.seized by the austrian government and changed by steyr from 6,5x53R to 8x50R with a completly different clip. must be a nightmare to do this. then after the war ending sometimes as a hunting rifle. don't know if its realy for the 8x56R, don't believe it. https://www.waffengebraucht.at/waffen/re...er-1914--522625 |
