what happen all the time? meanwhile I found an old gunmaker who is willing to drill out the barrel and soft solder a new 6,5mm liner into. down side is I have to wait because he is having to much work and his retirement is near, should call him back in autumn.
when you can't solve a big problem fix the little ones, the scope came back today. I was triming the mount with a file and the parts were assembled after cleaning the scope by an expert.

so I got the load back last week and it looks like this could be working one day.
