Thanks, I have a sufficiency of clips, and hope to add a couple more when I collect a batch of elderly rounds I bought at auction. I have just bought 4 boxes (39 rounds) of Kynoch non-corrosive, circa 1963 vintage. I reload those cases using a Wamadet hydraulic decapper to get the Berdan primers out. Unfortunately they take an intermediate size (.201”) No. 78 Berdan primer and those are in short supply. I do have some Boxer primed cases (some converted from .303 British) and if all else fails I have a form and trim die but turning down the rim diameters seems a bit like hard work. According to Nonte I could also open out the primer pockets to Boxer large rifle size and drill and punch a central flash hole at the same time closing the pair of Berdan flash holes. |
