Hi, everyone! I just purchased this M1905 takedown in 9x56 with British proofs on the receiver and the serial number on the trigger guard. Although at first I thought it was a Rigby made rifle, apparently it is not. The takedown system is slightly different from Rigby as well. I should have the rifle in my hands next week when the transfer goes through but meanwhile I would like to post a few pictures and I have a few question about it. Any thoughts on which company did the conversion? There is a number 3709 on the trigger guard applied in Rigby style. It appears that the receiver was drilled for a Alex Martin mount and scope. Any suggestion on where to procure one? Any general thoughts about this gun are welcome! Thank you! https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/0w8xgxvt0...al89lb&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/8vpn4czit...nszzin&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/m09m798ql...li67ol&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/8bwh6lke2...0g003f&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/0fnuntu9m...muuh93&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/9d2x2j8yx...u47mm5&dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ynqofp5js...66moq7&dl=0 |
